I'm hoping that this works - just trying to share a video of my local beach in West Wales. I've been really lucky as it is walking distance from my house and my board lives in the lifeboat station on the beach!!
it's nothing special, and I'm even less special, but it makes me smile and that's what it's all about.
Cheers,
Simon
Hey this is great, I'll need to get some footage and get a Wales vs Scotland thread going on (no rugby analogies please). Nice waves and surfing.
What a sweet surf setup you have. Nice in the curl surfing. Are the any pointbeaks out by those headlands?

Sadly the headlands are all deep water. Some point breaks further up the coast and further down the coast too. We do have a river mouth break, which peels nicely and holds waves up to around 20ft, which is more than enough for me!!!!
Wow Haddock, what beautiful countryside you live in!
You are throwing that big board around really well and those waves look pretty sweet
Excellent, thank you!
Hey Haddock - i live nearish to you in Narberth and surf (SUP) Newgale and Fresh....sometimes druidstone. Drop me a DM with contact details and maybe we can hook up sometime...was looking at abermawr on the map last night, but keen to explore any right hander reef breaks you go to?!!

Excellent stuff Northy, I tend to stick to Poppit as I live about a mile away. I occasionally venture out to Newgale/Whitesands if the forecast is showing a southerly swell that won't make it up the coast to us. Abermawr holds some big surf, but the rocky beach probably equals ding city!!!
I'm sure that you already know that the better breaks are down at Fresh West, Manorbier and Broadhaven South, but always keen to catch up with like minded individuals for a surf so I'll DM you with contact details.
Oh, and the go-pro (session) is a bite mount with a float case.
Cheers,
Simon
For the record, Poppit was about 8ft and barrelling on sunday, a bit too much offshore wind made it a mission, but well worth it for the waves I did get!
No pics/vid as I was 'taking it easy' after breaking some ribs last weekend falling off a ladder....
