They were a very good paddle about five years ago..

There was a serious issue with their handles breaking in the newer ones with the new shape T grip handle.. They are a pretty big blade.

If you want the feel and power of a big blade do yourself a favour and look at a Ke Nalu Molokai, mated with one of their 90 or 100 flex paddles. I've been surfing and flat water lately with a Molokai/100...have to confess I was a bit intimidated by the power of it at first but now I'm loving it. I also like the big Molokai blade a lot with a flexy shaft for DW. My smaller paddles aren't getting much water time.
