Try the top-of-the-line models of any wetsuit brand. You will be astonished by the flexibility and lightness of modern neoprene (or geoprene, or...)
Note that the specific brand is more a question of fitting to your personal body shape. All brands have different feelings. Me, being short & fat found out that Rip Curl & Quicksilver (in their "short" versions) were good fittings, but not Billabong (too tigh in the chest). This will be different for each person. Try them! Rip Curl "*-Bombs" are my favorite, alas I must order them overseas, Rip Curl Europe decided to not produce the XLS size anymore...
I like also a lot the chest zips. Dorsal zips have always been a hassle for me.
And for SUPs, the new "retro" long johns are quite cool when paddling in water colder than the air. I have the quicksilver one
