Just wondering.. Does anyone know?

They were once (as far a sup boards go) bigger than Naish.. Bigger than Starboard.. Bigger than Coreban and Fanatic.. They were the leaders in surfing sup's.. Leaders in DW boards.. even their paddles were regarded as the best..

What happened?

Spent a few days with Tod Bradley last November , still going strong with a huge mainland US following, inflatables, rescue gear and clothing. They are looking at more of a lifestyle brand like Patagonia.

C4 Waterman are a big supporter of SUP in WA. As pointed out earlier, they are going for the cruising/lifestyle market. Still make great boards!

C4 is Being distributed by PaddlePro Pty Ltd and available in about 15 - 20 stores Australia wide. Distribution only started just before season and boards landing into stores over the last few weeks. Are ranging boards from 8'8 Micro Sub and MR Pro all the way to the TGIF 14' Downwinder.

Yeah I owned one for a bit. Very stable & paddled well. Super loose but didn't hold a rail well. Always seemed to push out away from the wave face.

Hey mate i was the same super keen to check one out. Finally did , i had high hopes considering the man who was the motivation behind producing the board, sorry if this sounds harsh ,but i found to be a poorly /cheaply made load of crap, Imho there's heaps of better boards out there, that's one cue that can stay in the rack, that's for sure

A couple good sources told me they went into serious production problems...

Is that true?

In just know that in Europe, they definitely didn't display any business sense... For instance they chose to have their Europe importer in ... Switzerland, which, aside from not having any coastline, is not in the European union, meaning customs & currency hells for distributing in all european countries... no wonder you see no C4 anywhere here...
