Have finished the downwinder and now ready to paint. Have been getting various points of view on which paint to use. Some say a 2 pac marine grade, automotive, or a 1k base paint. Any input what be appreciated, what do you use stuey?

Acrylic Laquer is fine to use Clarky, 2 pak is more difficult to apply and you really should be using at least a full hood respirator with a forced supply of clean air, these can be hired but it's a fair hassle to do the one board. Acrylic is easier to use, less mess and once cut back with 1200-1500 paper and buffed with cutting compound is almost as shiny as the 2pak though not quite as durable..........Good luck with it, Stuey
