Im keen to try one of their Brushed Carbon boards.

I just don't know which one.

Ive been paddling for a while and have had 8"5 PSH.

Ive paddled the fanatic 8"2 pro no worries and smaller houka's.

its seams the Stars hold lots of volume, which kind of scares me.

Im either looking at a

Pro 8"0
7eleven
or
POD.

any advice??

cheers

Pro 7'7 2012.... can't go wrong. surprisingly stable for it's size, I'm 80kg and ride it in most conditions. The added bonus is I have just advertised one in the Buy + Sell

I got the two starboardsup in Adelaide in the buy and sell. Happy if you want to demo. Both are in as new condition with on a mission grip fitted. Go brushed carbon, never go back!

Ive just looked at a new Naish Hokua 8"3GT.

**** its a hot board.

Im a little scared of the volume the starboards have for such short lengths.

I ordered the 8'5 Pro without even trying it and like most people was wondering how it would go from the 123L down to 106L.
Can tell you straight up that there is nothing to worry about. Surfed it twice and even found the stability a walk in the park.

Not sure where you are but if you can get to Merimbula next week we have over 20 boards we are bringing over from Perth and a heap we are bring down in our demo trailor from central coast NSW.

So well over thirty boards with a lot of them being carbon, ranging from 14' to 7' 4".

Should be a great event and might even get time for a Corona or three:)
