Why can't they just leave our sup paddles alone without making doule bends or super long double blades and then there was that stupid add on handle so you can paddle on your knees.. and now this short double paddle with a stupid handle stuck in the middle of one of the blades so you can paddle sitting on your arse.. Too funny.. Some people are determined to turn sup into sit down, kneel down or stand up kayaking..

Isn't that sorta like a surfer saying to someone on a SUP "why can't you just leave the sport of surfing alone?" I'm all for using a paddle like this (but I like innovative things, and wouldn't mind buzzing past the breakers!)

It is funny, but if "they just leave our sup paddles alone" we might still be paddling with a giant long double blader made out of wood on a full wood board - early stuff! I say go innovation! It might not be your cuppa, but I reckon I'd use that paddle a lot! (IMHO)

Maybe one of the many KUP (kneel up paddle) paddlers from last weekend's RPS race came up with the idea??

Not all of us put in the training that you do dean so for some of us to battle a 20 plus onshore breeze with waves is quiet difficult so if you like having people to beat and greater numbers in the sport this will be the norm on wild days
Also it was a social race and counted for nothing
