Just to throw another spanner in the works there is also the 11'2 which I have.
Longboard style but dont expect to do any hardcore reos or fast grinding cutbacks.
Saying that if you do find the sweet spot it can be quite surfy on the wave.
It has the glide for flat water and also the rails, lines and tail of a surfboard.
Good for waves up to head high I reckon. Any bigger or suckier and the nose just wants to bog down on the take off. You have to really step back on the tail and cut through the face of the wave. It also has the ability to pick up the tiniest of tiniest waves.
