I'm a newbie to SUP as well as any surf/ocean. Never surfed before and hardly spend time at the beach. But spend lots of time in the Swan River (widsurf mainly).
I'm thinking of beating the heat later today and take the SUP to a nearby ocean location that is: - SUP friendly - I have no intention to offend any surfers or anyone else as I have no idea of etiquette - Very very small swells with minimal dangers such as reefs - Not too far to walk as my SUP is a 12'6" - Ideally have some SUP beginners there as well so that I won't be the only one being laughed at!
try creasing ur nose twice in 6 weeks. only had the board 2 months too... oh well, bought to be used. note to self (and others) - dont ride trigg beachy on 0.4m tide.
