Considering lack of swell who is going out tomorrow and where. And if your not going then where would you go if ya could.

Was thinking of driving south of the border but haven;t got a heap of time.

IS it worth the paddle to TOS or is a beachie anywhere the go???

the swell has turned south so that has to be considered. i think low is at 8.30, i'm waiting for a palmy beachies later. if you have to surf early it will have to be the points i reckon

you would love to, how far south are you dogman?

was keen for cabarita but don't have the time. thinkin of giving TOS a go cause haven't been before otherwise will do the usual at the alley.

lacey i would have come to palmy and dropped in on a few but a bit late in the morning for me.

should be a peachy day regardless.

Tweed Coast is worth a look, got some pretty good waves today. 9.30am it peaked to about 2 to 3 foot than dropped with the upcoming wind. Ahhh the life of a school teacher.

went to TOS (good tip Piros) and it was worth the paddle around from the spit. no other stand ups, bout 10 guys near the pipe and bout 40 on a peak further up which was pumping.

slight NW wind then glassed off about 11ish. probably solid 2ft and plenty of waves so i was just picking off some clean rights.

have to remember for next time that the south wall of the seaway is much further out then the north wall which makes for a long paddle when the tide is screaming in, especially after a surf.

I seem to remember recently a post about TOs is way to heavy for subs Now we have a newbie from a non surfing background asking for advice where to go and been advised to go there, not only that but he said he surfed it which it seems with no problems Just a little confused on this one.

Brooko, the only options when we have no swell on the GC is either TOS or the Jetty at King'y .TOS at one two foot is like a walk in the park, step it up to 3 plus and it's not for a newie

Brooko,

I to remember that particular post a while back.

Thing about TOS is it a very fast, punchy a framed peaky wall that is suited mainly for a shortboard.

Even experienced guys get nailed occasionally over there and get a good hammering on the sandbank.

I was over there on Monday when the rest of the Goldy was a ripple and it was 2/3 foot.

Definately not a place for learner SUPs.

nice, bit of controversy. what mac said, there was no swell anywhere so it would be the only time i would go over there (maybe not quite a walk in the park for a newbie). it was that glassy even with the short rides i had a ball.
