Any thoughts, I am a creature of habit and usually hang around Cott.

Was at Iso's this morning and reasonable about .5m to 1m but tomorrow will not have anything.

What is Mettams like when Cott is at .5m?

AKhawk what is your professional advice

I don't know what I'm talking at all!
I think metts works on about 0.5m off cott but don't hold me to that.
Greenie might be the person to ask.

Trigg point

Getting the pin out at Trigg point would go down really well
How about between Trigg and Scarbs? You might find a quiet spot.

Been paddling from Brighton to the point catching waves as I go stops you dominating one spot and good exercise.

Not a good bank on the whole stretch at the moment.

Now I've got no hope of keeping up with you. If you don't mind paddling at a slower pace, it'd be good to do it again sometime soon.

I think it is the Kanaha model (?) it is the smaller blade model for higher cadence paddling.

Just cut and glued it tonight so will test it out tomorrow or over the weekend.

Metts needs at least a 0.7m Cott swell or at least a 2m Rotto swell to even start to think about breaking.
And it also depends on the tides and wave period.
Tomorrow I dont think it will be breaking.
Around 6am its about 0.7m tide which is low but still ok. And through out the morning it will be falling which makes most of the reef breaks between Trigg and Hillarys too shallow.
But even like Hilly said there is not much in the way of any banks along the beachies.
I might catch you down there in the morning before dawn. I start work at 7am so it will be a quickie for me

Where did you end up going Reagan? Unfortunately I'm not going to be able to get out this weekend. My wife has gone away for a girlie weekend so I'm flying solo with the 3 kids. I'm going to be in need of a good paddle the following weekend though.

Actually did a river run instead around Herrison Island as had to get into work early.

LOVE the Quick Blade it pulls through the water so much more easily than my other 9 1/4 inch blade and much lighter as well.

You keen for a river paddle tomorrow morning looks like it could be good?

I flogged down to Secrets - probably about 1 to 1.5m face peakers coming through on a lumpy sea. Very slow, then sucky at the last with the tide going out - so critical for the take-off. Quite a lot of closing out. Maybe three or four turns if I was lucky. Joined a few other SUPers which helped keep all the shorties/mals at bay.
