Home from work on Wednesday arvo and a session was on the cards. Only problem was the wind was a bit funky and the swell a tad chunky. Luckily I have just taken delivery of my new summer shorty, a 6-4 quad. With the summer seabreeze a constant spoiler in Vicco you need to have a plan B or you wont get much wave SUP time. The new board was made for summer junk but Wednesday seemed to be as good a time as any to christen it. When local photographer Ed Sloane sent me a few pics from the session I cracked up.
After nearly 3 years of almost constant SUP I'm carrying an imaginary paddle with me all the time. Hows the right hand death grip on the handle? Im even finding that my feet automaticaly go to parrallell stance when I pull off the back of a wave. Old dog new tricks!
