Been playing around with this paddle technique to improve my paddling change over, but it doesn't feel like you get as much power out of the stroke, be happy to hear others opinions.
I use it a little when my shoulders are getting sore.Gives them a bit of a rest.Definatley would not paddle a whole session like that , i doubt he does either.I think chainging your stoke up is a good thing , enageges different muscles while you give others a rest.
