Been looking at Wind Guru its looking good so fare for a Downwind Paddle from Brunswick Heads to Currumbin Alley:- Saturday 17th April with 15 knots South Winds with a 1.9 metre South Swell that’s pumping both wind & swell right behind you (give you that full enema effect - to funny). Perfect conditions to get some all time runners should be just surfing the whole way out there!
Be good training for those people wanting to do the 30km marathon at the Salt Water Festival Saturday 8th May. Plus it be good training for those People going over to do the Hawaiian Molokai Race SOLO or in TEAMS. Teams be BULK FUN just make shore you have a sled on the back so you don’t f##k your SUP during the change over.
Hope to see you there 8-9am at the Brunswick Heads boat ramp.
see ya in da ocean

How exciting are these reports? Mate I am jumping out of my own skin....... Gold Coast Cup tomorrow...... Talk about Downwinder, it will be the best one of my life so far. Cook Island to the Spit with the swell and wind on our butts in an OC6 with a support boat 9 man team and 30 or so other OC6's to race. First changeover race as well.

STOKED!

First leg, Greenmount to Cook Island 8am, turn at a can at Cook Island and 4 hours later you arrive to crack a beer inside the seaway at the VMR tower. SICK!

G'day Meahuna
No I'm just in training for the 30km Salt Water Festival race. But doing 50km paddles for fitness training may aswell start now! because in 2012 I will be going back to Hawaii to paddle in the Molokai race when I turn 50yo. They have age divisions now so I'll be a young 50yo & I'm 2yo older than Dave Kalama yes it sounds like a shallow victory but thats how the prone paddleboarders think (to funny) + it cost around $12,000 grand for a months stay on Maui + I just brought a jet-ski I dont have any more money + I'm going to Fiji for 10 weeks in July Vinaka vakalevu.
what does meahuna mean? like this prone paddleboarder I know he is so howlie he dont even no his howlie (to funny).

Oh ok, just that a little birdy told me the other day that you were, I must have you confused for someone else, oops

if it is a shallow victory, why do you want to reduce yourself to level of the "prone paddleboarders" you talk of

...well i'll leave to your paddle today, should be good. its going to be busy out in the ocean today on the goldie

PS.the meaning of meahuna is ...a 'secret'

PPS. umm i tink "howlie" is spelt "haole"
