Would this type of blade work for sup?creates lift under the craft , less drag?

Roar had a new QB racer in recently that I guess was an attempt at something like this, it was quite scooped.

It would work on one side of the SUP, but not the other...

Check out the Coffs Harbor made outrigger paddle. Carbon Culture.
Similar line of thinking,hasn't taken off.
