As some of you may know, Nozza and I used to sail together.
Each year we'd pack up our ONE boat and head off to regattas to compete against the Nations best skiff sailors (like Alohagumby).
However time has moved on, we've both got the inevitable families, and we no longer kid ourselves that we're the hotshots we once believed (only kidding here).
Instead we'll be meeting up, with our families, over the xmas/new year period this year with our SIX SUP's.
Everything from a 9' Fanatic Fly to the DC14.
Apart from the obvious pondering (of our wives) of how the hell did this happen, the more pertinent pondering I have is :
Do we have enough boards...???!!!
PS - thanks to all of you guys and gals that have helped me in my first year of SUP'ing - DJ, Warwick, Al, Kathy, Ann, Jean, Stu & the HMB Hard Core. I still can't figure out why this thing is so addictive, but it looks like I'm well and truly hooked.
Happy xmas everyone!
