Jonathan and I are doing a Yarra paddle tomorrow if anyone's keen.
From Studley Park boathouse to Fairfield Park boathouse.
We plan to meet at about 9.30am and be back by about 12.30 to have lunch at the Studley Park boathouse cafe.
Here's some directions for those who've never been there.. Check the yellow arrows on my map.
If heading north from the city up Hoddle Street you turn right into Johnston Street.
Head up Johnston St a few kilometers and once you cross the Yarra River look for the left turn into the side road that goes into Yarra Boulevard.
Turn left into Yarra Boulevard and about a kilometer up the road there's a left turn to Studley Park... See red cross on my map.
There's free parking at Studley Park.
We will paddle up the Yarra following the light blue dots on my map.
Under the first foot bridge.. under the freeway bridge.. and then under another foot bridge shown in green on my map.
Then we will be at Fairfield Park shown with the red cross on my map.. We can buy a drink there before heading back.
