Has anyone been for a paddle up the Yarra? been thinking about it for a while..is the water #$%* ?

I've paddled up the Wonga Park section of the river JB and never had any problems.It will have more crap in it after rain like any river system and keep an eye on any open cuts.I know some people paddle near the chandler hwy bridge/Alphington area to, so it should be all good,
