I have heard that guys up north have been doing this for years, painting stripes on the bottom of their boards to deter sharks and in particular yellow stripes. Could have spent $20k on a trip up there and put it down to 'research'.

Has anyone tried painting the bottom of their board to look like a shark? I'll do it for $20,000 and let you know how I go.

The number of shark attacks are down but the number of surfers attacked by lions has increased.

I've got some black and white striped fishing lures that predatory fish go nuts over.

If a shark swam up to me and I was wearing that getup. I think the brown cloud in the water would give me away.
