Yesterday's downwinders was a bit of a surprise with only 15-20 knots of wind forecast but we woke with with over 30 knots..

We rushed to organize a DW'er but by the time we got onto the water the wind had dropped to only about 15-20 knots..

Still enough to do a downwinder.. (just).. I finally got to test my new Larry Allison/Jeremy Riggs downwind fin called the Aercor fin..

The fin was awesome.. Here's some vid that shows how this fin helped me turn my 14' Glide.. At times it felt like a ruddered DW board.
