only been surfing (sup) for a couple of yrs and think i've got an addiction problem..

i never get picky, if there is a wave and it surfable ... i want it

when i pull at the car park and see a clean wave..... the expression ' let the dog see the rabbit ' best describes my mental state.....

i'm the world record holder for getting into my wettie, board off the roof and hitting the water comp.

run out of late for work excuses.

all worries/problems instantly vanish on my first paddle stroke.

countless "i want to go suppin" arguments with the fun police,

never wear a watch and always late home

all holidays MUST be at the ocean.

one more = at least a minimum of 10

when my baby is old enough,, , i want her on a board so i can score more time

i'm even getting the stoke, just writing about it..AAAGGHHHHHHHHHHHH

etc etc etc

anyone else????????????????

"I positioned my office monitor so that the partner's cannot see me posting on Seabreeze and watching Surf Cameras all day."

I think I am going to print off that list and pin it in my office.

I get really moody if I haven't been in the water for any longer than a week.

And it was all my fault hey Miller!? Just another reason for your fun police to hate me hehehe
I still remeber the day you came down to Trigg and had a go on my 11'2.
The first time you had ever stood on a paddle board and you were catching waves
I had to call you in so I could get my board back. Even then you asked for just one more wave which ended up being 10 hehehe Your smile was from ear to ear and lasted for days after.
And remember that day that I went for a SUP and you met me down the beach with your daughter in the car asleep? I staying with your daughter while you went out and caught some waves Ssshhh
Share the stoke

I have a kite addiction...If its more than 15 Knots I can't stop shaking. So I kite...

If its over 4 feet I can't work or even speak to anyone Until I've surfed it. I will surf until I cant paddle anymore.

And now the Stroker has come to be on my roof if neither of the above conditions are happening so I can go anyway.

My marriage is suffering, (gotta be absent from most events and cannot accept any future planning until I am certain conditions will be ****). My daughter was on the paddle board before she could walk mostly so I could go while I was watching her...

I can only just hold down my job ( Fortunatly I am alone in the state and no-one knows where I am).

I totally can't believe ordinary people could live without the water/ What would you do otherwise to keep the animal inside at bay????? Footy once a week didn't cut it. Motorbikes will Kill you and running/cycling/swimming Great if you like to be the best at practicing exercising (Famous words from Kenny powers...Eastbound and Down).

I am thinking a big yacht and Gone nowhere for good is worth a look.

How good were those days! I remember how I applied for jobs and they would call me back and I would either not answer their calls or just tell them that I had already found a job

Kinda like you now huh? No job and SUPing all day in Vicco while Im working and trying to squeeze in a lago after work or joining the weekend warriors at the circus

They say that one of the ways for managing depression is vigorous physical exercise. If I don't get a kite or a paddle or a surf or something I get suicidal.

Maybe we're all chronically depressed people but we don't know it because we're busy playing all the time.

The other thing I find with both surfing and paragliding is that when I'm not doing it I can't quite remember how it feels. I really have to go and do it to remind myself how it feels to be cruising along a wave or locked in a thermal spiralling up to a cloud. Every time is like the first time over and over again (except I get better at it each time. )
