I got the use of a whopper for the next couple of weeks and fancy doing something a bit ambitions and adventurous for a SUP novice. Does anyone fancy joining me on paddling the moore river from the Lancelin Rd (highway 60) bridge to Guiderton. Its about 15km paddle. expect to take errrh a while. need food & water backpacks.
Plan is to get dropped off by nice ute driver (wife) and collected in Guiderton.
Would be nice to get a few people along. my ute has racks etc so can carry a few boards. what does anyone think?
not sure how full the river is at moment but thats the fun.

Would be a good paddle. I think you should leave from the boatramp behind Woodridge estate as theres bugga all water up at the bridge at Lancelin rd at the moment.

I second that, I tried to paddle it in my kayak this time last year and dragged it over mud, trees and fences for the first two hours. Plus your SUP will have nice deep fins to catch on the bottom. Boat ramp at the back of Woodridge is you best bet. Not as long but far more civilised and enjoyable.
