The production model Sub Vector is mainly aimed at the 'heavier' variety and those wanting to learn first up on a short high performance sup and not waste $$$ on that first learner board which is the one Casso reviewed. This model is also the
only SUP surfboard nominated for this years SIMA (Surf Industry Manufacturers Association) surfboard design of the year award. Others nominated are shortboards by Rusty, Firewire, lost & Channel Islands
I weigh 65kg @ 168cm and surfed my semi custom sub vector today in 2-3ft waves and was able to throw it around quite easily. The 5-fin option is great as it allows you to play around with fin setups to suit your style of surfing.
We are producing the 9'3 Sub Vectors here in Australia now and can be semi-customized to suit the riders ability as well as choosing glass jobs etc etc so you know what you are getting not to mention pumping some $$$ back into the local industry.
PM me if you would like further info and don't forget to ask about the 'Rudds stymulas' offer on the 9'3's for the month of May.
