somebody must be on these shooters?
any good? i'm a fat arse that can SUP surf okay so looking at the 9'6" 130L model
What SUP cuz.......I have spent a bit of time riding the LSD 9'6 on my way down through the different board lengths from what I started out on to what I am riding now, which in fact is only it's little brother (the 9'2) and found the LSD 9'6 to be the most responsive board I have ridden in that length (IMO). Coming from a shortboard back ground this board had the same feel on the waves face and didn't feel like a "tank" as some boards do when riding a wave. I put this down to the "rolled" surfboard like rails and the single to double concave running through the bottom, its basically a blown up surfboard/fish and feel exactly like that when you are surfing it.
I do have to agree with what Billboard said"They tend to sit lower in the water than a lot of other sups so they can feel a little wobbly at the start" but found that a small adjustment of your feet (bring them closer to the centre of the board) solved that problem.
Below is a link to a previous post from Casso who rode the 8'10 (even smaller brother of the 9'6 & 9'2) which I am aiming to get on this summer, and a link to the guys over in NZ who are distributing LSD SUP's (and also Simon Anderson SUP's)
