I have some chips in my surftech laird 11'6 and wanted to know if I need to repair these. I have heard somewhere along the line that you can just reapply some gel coat to the chips. Has anyone done this before? Could you give me some advice it would be much appreciated.

Hey Sharmat,

You can buy the genuine touch up paint form surftech they have it in a range of colors and the red was a perfect match. It comes in a nail polish size bottle
was about $10 I think.

The other fun altenative is take the board to your local bunnings or hardware and get them to paint sample it with thier machine, its priceless just seeing the crowd gather and watch them trying to get the board to work with the machine when they do it.

The result was pretty close.
