Just finished chopping and shaping old JP windsurfing board (nose still needs a little shaping) ready for glassing. It was a 8'1 x 20.5" board, it's now 7'4 x 30.25 x 4, should be sweet in smaller glassy conditions. I know it's no DC 8'8 but at about $600 including deck grip and fins I reckon it should be fun.

Well done Cam. Nice job. Looks great. I'd go for the grungy, recycled look and wouldn't spray it.

I'm just looking at my Fanatic right now! Don't think I could do it. Might pay to keep an eye out at the next swap meet for an old cheap good sailboard.

Great effort Cam! Looks like you have done a good job putting it together. Let us know how it goes.

Gunna go quad setup, been using simon anderson L fins in starboard 8'5 and they work well, seems to be the go with bit wider tail

Hi I can see the 6 saw cuts to get the tail rocker but how much thickness did you take out with each one or was it just the thickness of the blade? Thanks Rod

bought a block of styrene (same as surfboard blank) from place in melb, got them to cut it at exact width, there was enough for two boards, $75 delivered to my door
