currumbin, its a paddlers paradise. distance creek paddling, protected areas, creek mouth, the point, laceys, always seems to be some type of wave. good finishing/ starting point for dw ers.
it's a beautiful laidback area stuck inbetween the madness of surfers and the crowds of coolie.
i hope the place stays the same for ever- i wouldn't want to be anywhere else.
whats good about your locate?
Same as yours Lacey but adding to it, National Park on the right that not only protects from a northerly wind but adds beauty to look at and take you away from living in a city. Marine wildlife in the creek including eagle rays and sting rays on the shallow bottoms, birds of prey nets along the creek, not as crowd in the waves or up the creek as Currumbin and the kicker always having a safe carpark close to the waves even when the surf is pumping

.
The only other place I would rather be would be at Hastos on the Tweed Coast, that place is the bomb, lots of fond memories growing up down there.
