mate of mine is on a DC 14 and it is a really nice board, stable and for us mmmmmmm lets say more generously proportioned paddlers (actually I think someone referred to me as a 'powerful paddler' once) lots of float. I reckon they go alright.

Can someone give me some insight on this board? With the dugged out deck I assume it's not a BOP kind of board. On the other hand, a round tail is something I don't see a lot on open ocean race boards. Usually either it's a pin or a square tail?

Any info???

its a dw board mainly but is very fast in the flats too. alain is right up there with our training groups elite paddlers one being travis. travis has won just about everything in australia on versions of this board. these boards have a very deep v through the tail

i've have seen his euro flat water model being made now based on this design- pintail and narrow and only for him.

we had nice ins and out training yesterday and there was no problem however i wouldn't be getting one for bop only

this board is more stable than my 27" 12'6

suppose if someone really wanted, but these boards of his are something else. there would only be a handful that could use them- no joke.

its part of the r and d
