hi guys,
I'd really appreciate some pointers with selection of my first paddleboard. I've searched the forum but couldn't find the same question (from someone with the same requirements) but forgive me if i missed something.
I live in the northern suburbs of Sydney and am looking at using a SUP at places like Freshwater (when flat or small waves), on places like Narrabeen lakes and on rivers.
I'm around 83kgs and and have trailed a few paddleboards. I'm leaning towards the Naish 10" 6' x 30. I was close to purchasing the GS version but then found out that the GT version (and some others SUPs) have fittings for windsurfing sails. I'm looking at using the SUP for paddleboarding but if they are ok for windsurfing I'd like to have that option too.
Given this information do you think the Naish 10" 6' X 30 is the way to go or is there a smarter choice?
Thanks in advance.
Mate, the best thing that you can do is to go into one of the shops they will help you out with good advice and a good deal, there are a few around
wssboards.com.au/ - Collaroy
www.supgearaustralia.com/ - Pittwater Rd
www.balmoralboards.com.au/ - Pittwater Rd
You will be able to demo boards and will get better advice than what is often touted here
