Help Rod ,just having a beer after doing the last lamination on the back yard SUP.Almost looks like the real thing(3 beers).Any how, the Question of fin placement. The board is 10'8"x29x4 ,I`m thinking single fin mainly coz I don`t know the value of the thuster style on this type of board.Where do you think I should position the box (10")to give me a little bit of versatility in the feel of the board.BTW I ended up buying cloth and finbox from shapers in QLD and would highly recommend them.cheers

I know Lennie well, He and his son are ex Coffs, there is a street in Woopi named after the family.
Without knowing how wide or how much tail lift is in your shooter around 7 inches forward should be good. Or you can set the box futher forward for looseness and undercut the back of the fin and reposition the pin so the fin overhangs the back of the box to get it further back.
