This is a really good event to do.
I would highly recommend all of those interstate paddlers to come over and do this one. It's around 8km so not too heavy for novices to have a crack at too.
If you need help with gear let us know and we will see what we can dig up for you.

Xcel, Honulua...... Same company really, both owned by Billabong. Xcel is probably a better fit with the new divisions as a sponsor as they make a lot of paddling product that is seen regularly in the other disciplines.
That will also mean better prizes!!!

Looks like a few of us are coming up from Sydney. Any idea what divisions most will paddle in? Stock or unlimited?
Cheers,
Sam.

a solid south east wind would be nice, as sam has mentioned most of our sydney races have been more headwinders as opposed to downwinders. So it would be a nice change :)

Hey Mikeman,
Looks like Kristi might sneak in at 14 but theer only seems to be a unlimited category? What board would you have up there to hire or borrow to compete?
