indoor sprint comp at the london boat show

ive been told its a first ever for sup but this coming jan they are holding a indoor sprint comp at the london international boat show and hopefully it will be webcast for all you guys online to see. take a look here and i was lucky a nuff to get one of the 10 invites which im supper excited about cant wait!

Charlie, are those pics really from London? Because I've just come back from London and it was freakin' cold.

that pic on the advert is from a place on the south coast called Bournemouth (famosly known round here for the reef built by asr that doesnt work lol)

and yes right now its prity darn cold and horable. we normally get a few weeks in the summer when its not to bad but nothing like u guys have unfortunately.im glad its a indoor comp in jan put it like that! we are racing all winter here though just have to rap up very warm thats all.

Yeah it makes me sick - none of their projects have worked (from a surfing perspective) yet people continue to believe in them and councils across the world continue to sign up for them......oh dear oh dear.

I went out for an evening paddle with the Blue Chip SUPer Club on the Thames a couple weeks back and made the rookie error of rugging up too much. Ended up soaking in sweat, then freezing in the chill air once we stopped paddling. That was one very cold train ride back to central London.

They are doing something indoor as well for the SUP the 5th of december at the paris boat show. I am not quite sure what exactly.
The day before they are doing the 10km SUP race on the Seine
