very busy stretch of water currumbin ck in the mornings. big numbers. jackos lot, kelly's lot, four oc 6's training plus assorted ski paddlers etc.
scotty added another type of board to the list today with a coreban.
lots of new paddlers turning up keen as mustard
the place is going to need the water police to direct traffic or paddling lanes the way it's going.
it's fantastic to see and everybody is helping each other

Yes, very hectic.
Just a word for the beginners though. I was in one of the OC6's and these things travel fast and are a lot harder to steer. Some of the beginner paddlers on SUP were zig zagging all over the place and it's only a matter of time until one meets the other with a crack.
Usually obviously the 6 mans are outside anyway but just as a cautionary note, if you're going to paddle in front of them at least hold a straight line so that they can go around you.

hey good to see people enjoying the ocean, mate rings two days ago and said hed driven from the sunny down and was taken aback the amount of stand up boards in the water, even got to surf dbah with a few hugging the nrth wall. Hadda been me i would have kept driven
