hey guys since the mambo . ive surfed the bar tues / wed 8ft n 6ft and pambula rivo 5 ft all on my surfboard s! thurs / fri /sat / sun between 4 to3 ft early morning , on a sup , only one out for atleast an hour ! been riding a 9/6 psh ripper n a lsd 9/2 ! lifes good . love riding both boards . only one grip ! this morning 2 tourists paddled out on 2 new 11 plus sups no leg ropes , cant surf ! boards going everywhere ! gives guys that do the right thing a bad name . after the good vibe and no hassles of the mambo . guys like these give our sport n surfers ammo to hammer sups . has anyone else had this happen . catch ya in the green room ! bournda steve.

Hey Oli, we need to name and shame I rekon. Next time take notice of the boards and maybe vehicles. It's only the start of summer and it's going to get worse!

Not sure if that is the answer but one of the guys was riding a DC 9. He was quite arrogant and I got the feeling that they were oblivious that they were doing the wrong thing, and didn't feel the need to upset their feeble minds. I find there are enough breaks going around in Vic so I don't have inclination to give them the stink eye. I think I would rather not surf than become a policeman out in the ocean. In saying that, the majority of the time I've found people considerate, particularly those on sups.

It is not for everyone, and recommended in dangerous situations like no leggies etc, but I reckon we owe it to the sport and everyones future enjoyment to say something to guys who are totally oblivious to their actions. Better to have a quiet polite word than drag the sport down and have them totally abused down the track.

found out the guys had hired the boards from the surf shop in pambula ! after seeing sups on tv . after i got out of the water , they where delt with by a local by the name of rambo !!!!! they where last seen heading back towards canberra . mel n jason the bar is offshore in a n/e and the s/e swell is best also , tuesday was big n abit windy but other than that pretty epic week down here ! flat today though ! mel would love to borrow that board for the girls down here . brian from walk on water might pick it up ill be in touch . back to the plumbing !!!!! check ya steve

Tell Dave at the surf shop that if he hires out SUP boards that he should supply leggies with them if they intend using them in the surf...
