I am looking to buy a naish alana sup 10"6'
I have done Alot of flat water cruising on my previous board but want to get into some small waves as well as cruising.
Does anyone own this board and do you recommend it?

It's the same board as the Nalu 10'6 but with girly graphics. If you look up the Nalu you'll see that every man and his dog loves it and even though boards come and go, most people tend to hang onto this one because it's that good.

Good to know it's the same board, I'm able to find some useful reviews now. Thank you. I've also noticed it's on average $100 more for the alana even though all the specs are the same so they have upped the price because it's pretty haha. Still hasn't put me off, I'd spend the extra to have a pretty board since I'm going to spend hours on end looking at it!

The Naish Alana paddles are very good.. Good blade size..

I'd recommend a fixed length length paddle but the adjustable version is fine..

my wife has a current model 10'6 Alana and bloody loves it, the only surf we get here is when a cyclone barrels into us so she doesnt surf it. thats my fat arse drowning it in my profile pic

Sarah... take a look at Ke Nalu paddles as well.

They are amazing and they come with a bonus:

They are assembled with "Hot Glue" so all you have to do is heat it up with a hair drier to replace or reposition a componant.
If something every gets damaged, simply replace the blade, handle or shaft. Easy as pie.

There is also an extended handle available so you have 8" of adjustment to find what works best for you. It is not an "adjustable" it simply has a fixed handle that you can heat up to lengthen or shorten, super light and paddle better than any other I have tried.
