Nice board at a great price. We have one in our demo fleet and I've quite a few good days on it. Heavier than some but at $1295 it's pretty easily forgiven.

As far as a review goes take a look at Kite actions review of the Star 9'8" and that pretty much the Oxbow 10 with a bit less stability. Even at 30" of width the tail draws in a lot more with less thickness throughout making it less stable for guys 85kg's plus. Guys under that size won't care as the width and thickness is plenty for them.

If you get the chance take it for a paddle as there a quite a few subtle differences between all the boards around these days. May not seem much on first paddle or surf but after time little differences get bigger as you get better.

Gidday Windy, yes i've got one........bought it 2nd hand. I'm 76kg & its an ideal size for me. I have a surfing background, had it in for 2 flat water paddles & surfed it once........very happy, anything bigger, for me, i feel, would be too big, but then i'm looking at surfing it most times, very manouverble, just like a surfing mal. Hope that helps !!. I'll let you know how i progress

Sam, at dead on 85Kg what do you think of this board for someone that has had a lot of time windsurfing and had no trouble on a Starboard 9'8".

You'll be fine if you're doing it easy on the Star 9'8".

are these boards much of a muchness...or chalk n cheese

the oxbow seems a lot thinner through the mid section...i think.

Hey Windy

I have the Oxbo 11" and have no problems with it. I'm 90kg. Fine for cruising and the small surf I have been in. Lots of volume forward with thinner tail. Thruster fins.
I reckon the price is right to.
Your welcome to try it. PM me your number.
