Most of us would agree, legropes are an essential part of surfing, not only for safety but also convenience. can someone enlighten me as to why then don't clubbies use them on paddleboards. I'm not talking about comps but when they decide to go out for a free paddle (usually in packs) and cause carnage. Happens frequently throughout summer in vic. what about your area?

Never seen carnage from the clubbie boards at Manly from any of the clubs maybe I'm not paying enough attention.

I've seen people cause more carnage getting dragged through the surf by their board with a leggie then I've have seen from people ridding with out a leash and theres quite a few of those around Manly not including the clubbies.

Relying solely on a leash doesn't mean your being safe, learning how to control the board and not rely on the leash is an important lesson everyone needs to learn whether it's a SUP, LB, SB, KB, GB or clubbie board.
