the other day I went sup surfing, took me 20 minutes to get out the back, not because of the waves, it was the conversations with fellow suppers on the way out, back when I started surfing late 60's early 70's there was a genuine interest shared by fellow surfers, we had something unique, there was a fun element, talking equipment, waves and meeting the like minded, interestingly after reading Bob Mctavish's book he wrote about this sentiment, the experience over the last few years of supping I have experienced a similar stoke, there is a genuine interest a camaraderie, within the new sup community that should be maintained at all costs, it would be interesting to hear other peoples experiences
