I am replacing my 3M rail tape. Any easy way to get rid of the gummy stuff? I tried 'goof off' but with only limited success. Thanks

Towball assures me that Bunnings is the best place to buy your rail tape......I would tread with caution however

Use either, WD40 or turps, spray or brush on liberally, cover with soaked cloth ( in which ever product you chose) leave for half an hour or 30 minutes your choice . then simply scrape of using plastic card- scraper. Clean up missed glue by wiping with soaked cloth. Finish job by washing down with warm soapy water.
Alternative to covering with soaked cloth is cover required area with cling wrap ( after spraying on chosen product)
