Hi all is 78kg or 171 pounds to heavy for the candice appleby 12'6 race sup?
On one of the sup websites it says that the board is recommended for riders up to 165pounds. What I want to know is well I felt comfortable riding this board today in currumbin creek but is the width to small at 27.9 to take it in the open ocean? I know its how I feel but if others have had a crack on this board I would like to know otherwise the bark competitor is still on the cards but the candice feels faster.
Hope I made some sense???

I have never ridden this board, nore have I stood in your shoes but I can say you are only off by 6 lbs which is not even 3 kg.... If you ride a board enough it will become normal for you. have you other boards in mind that you have tried that you like as much or more?
