Fast Eddy said...I surfed Bungan on saturday over head high sets, meaty slabs. Brand new Al Merrick Whip 6'1"
Mindblowing barrells, so good!
Makes my 9'6" Naish Nalu feel like a well a big fat 9'6"
Seriously the right board for the right conditions

Rode my brand new 5'10" Insight Matt Penn RPM-G at S.Av on Saturday-great board and waves-but busted the back fin and a chunk of foam and glass out on my 3rd wave-hmmmmm, slightly 'devo'd', in a manly way of course....
I think it's really just horses for courses-I kite, surf, SUP and bodybash-just ride the right equipment dependent upon the conditions-off to G-Land next week for 10 days and I WON'T be taking a SUP, but a bunch of 6'6" mini-guns just right for G-Land's winding barrels-and, having been SUPing heaps the past few weeks, so feeling core fit, nimble and balanced.
SUPs super fun, as is kiting and 'prone' surfing-it's all part of the ocean life for me-and, I suspect, many here.
(Bournda, I do an annual Lakey trip too-different time of the year-to take advantage of different conditions....)
