Of course we were joking and I really couldnt care less what others do, but my wife did say to me the other day " kneeling looks gay" Now this is from someone who has been out on a sub probably 4 times, she stands 99 % of the time, I said to her "you can kneel if your getting tired and she said " I dont want to look like a kook, its gay" now her words, not mine

If your standing, and your fellow surfer is sitting, you can always be the caller of on-coming set.I know my homies love to hear the early call, and I always let the boys have heaps of waves, who likes a wave pig?NO-ONE!!!!!

for me the difference to stand up to prone is to be able to catch Fat unbroken waves and steep waves ,and to get through sections, turning any ride possibly into a longer one.

Yeah Mac,how does it change the vibe in the water.I just love calling guys into screamers, and Iam a big believer in "what goes around".I find after Ive let a few go,that the "BIG FELLA" always has a screamer lined up for me,

Beastsurf, sitting is the same, From a surfing angle, Difference is SUP volume allows you to get through fat sections and maybe turn a short ride into a long ride. Paddling into fat unbroken waves is a bonus. Paddling into steeper ones is easier.
