Hi suppers i rode my 8'10 x30 jp pro in open ocean swell for the first time on the weekend ,about head and a half.with the extra speed it was hard to set a rail and also bounced on the chop a lot.do the longer narrower guns also have this problem and does the increase in length make up for the lost stability with less width cheers

Go as narrow as you can about 9 6. 27 ideal for normal sized people but most go 28.5. Hobbits like Kai Lenny ride

At 110kg the best one I have riden was 9 7 by 29.

Thin rails and a foiled out tail are your friend at speed by when standing out the back can be a challenge.

Have a look at the Jimmy Lewis 10ft baby bombora, at 125litres it's good to 80kg I reckon, I've seen most brands and consider the jimmy models the better of the production models with PSH not far behind

Ha ha that was crap - Kai rides 24 wide and that should be 'but'.
