I am staying at lorne for the coming weekend and am looking for a place with some fun waves... Im new to SUP and have had only one small wave session at torquay...
any tips would be great

You should be able to find a small wave to yourself along the beach at Lorne. If it's too small at Lorne (no waves), try around Eastern View & Moggs Creek.

Stay out of people's way until you've really got the hang of it.
If you're really new to SUP, remember to look at the horizon to help maintain your balance.

Oh, and keep your elbows fairly straight when paddling (no bent elbow tea bag paddle dipping please!).
