Head to Nai Harn.

You'll pinch yourself to where you are, a good left from one end. A tropical Island just off shore. I scored it amazing last year which was a surprise, I didnt think they really got waves. 4 feet, clear water and sunshine with few people around. It's a great spot.

Google it, I reckon even without waves it's one of the best places on Phuket.

I was there at the end of the rainy season Sept/Oct year before last. Check out Kata Beach & Mama's Restaurant for the best seafood curry...Nai Harn is about 10 mins South
