dc 8'8". this one had a carbon strip in lay top and bottom. looked at a stringer, hi- density stringer and carbon in lays. carbon strips seemed to have the nicest rebound
ps the color from someone else camera phone is terrible. the blue is all wrong the board looks awesome with the red logo

yeah, this is the one. it weird, i rode casso's with his small fins, my 8 10 is setup the same except with shapers s 9'6, yet this one is too loose and slidy in the same spot. so i put some mr's in the front and rode in good tally creek and it cooks. to centre the board up, i just did a template of the mr on 9" centre fin and hacked it out to shape with fcs lugs and all. i'll get it foiled tomorrow

Looks nice, Lacey.

When I get back from China I will have a surf with you. You can then compare it to your original one (which I have resprayed red as I didn't like the grey).

i think the deck wears in better without the handle

i haven't got good scales, but from what i can make out a bit under 7 kg's with fins and deck grip. it's surprising how much a grip adds up to on a board.probably why lsd uses the hi tech casor sugar method

i'm done for boards for a bit, dale has jun who shapes, but i think the standups will have to wait. i know i would wont dale to do my board

Nice board Lacey, how wide is it? would it fit under your arm? hence no handle.

hey mac, she is still 29", i can tell you that standing on the thing really gives the impression of a shortboard, not just due to the size, but the shape. i reckon in decent waves you could easily prone surf it

I was on the PSH 12', struggled with shifting peaks a bit. Haven't come to terms with the big gun yet, a lot of fun though.

i found those waves hard, no real guts about them even when they were closing out. the swell wasn't a good direction for alley, probably why there were stuff all surfers out
