Does anyone know if you can get versa grip in Australia? Went online to purchase some but got near the end of the process but no shipping costs, cant see that happening. Got a carbon starboard 9'5'' wide point on its way thought versa grip would be the go. Any ideas?

Email them and they'll get you sorted.

They told me they were getting an Ozi distributor but no word on if its happened yet.

Hey 22South,

Have you ever tried the startouch thing?
I've been through several startouch boards and solutions.

Monter paint is too abrasive, so can be the versa traction; wax is too dirty (it gets everywhere, and my car seats aren't very fond of it); a deck pad is nice and confy but adds some weight to the board plus the traction isn't as good as wax (no matter which traction you're using).

Finally you get the startouch itself. Grippy enough (not as much as wax, but a lot grippier that what you may think of when you try it for the first couple of times), doesn't add any weight to the board and it doesn't destroy your wettie or skin.

Sorry to write so much about this, but I just want to raise your awareness so you don't make the same mistakes I did. From now on it will only be either deck pad or wax. Even if you can surf perfectly for the first couple of months without needing any other source of grip.
