I had same problem, I drilled a hole near the bottom
in the blade "bit" a real small hole, and after draining
just filled with 5min epoxy. Mine was leaking up at the
handle join. I found this by blowing air into the hole I had drilled.
resealed that and now no probs.

If you have used 5 minute epoxy to glue the T piece on then you can heat the glue with a hair dryer or gently with a heat gun, doesnt take much.
Then remove T piece, drain and re glue.

I have the same problem with my kialoa but was worried about drilling a hole in it ruining structural integrity. Maybe just live with the water... but then sort of defeats the point of having a light weight paddle... but then better to have a heavier paddle then a snapped one...

I drill a small drain hole in my handles before installation. The hole is way up top, but under the palm to prevent irritation.
I install the handle with 5 minute epoxy. The drain hole lets air out as the handle slides on. Before the drain hole trick, I noticed a buildup of pressure pushing my epoxy out of the joint, potentially leaving a pinhole, even if twisted on. Now there are no worries of glue pushing out.
I seal up the drain hole with a hot glue gun. If the paddle takes on water, poke out the plug, stand upside down, presto, out comes the water.
