Some one must have got some good waves today on the Goldie , unfortunately i had to work , but when i checked the surf this morning it looked like it was perfect for a good for sup session.
Im guessing theirs not to many suppers in Morsbey , must be nice to have the place to yourself.Do you get into the Beetle Nut i got a cousin who married a Papua girl and he loves the stuff , does nothing for me though.

Yeah nasty weather indeed. I fly up to PNG today.Ive been turnin down the volume and changin channels every time somethin about the plane comes on. So far the missus knows nothin about it and I will try and keep it that way W
You'll be right. Weathers eased off a bit this morning. Still blowing but nothing like yesterday. And the airstrip at Lihir is way way better than Kokoda which is just a bush track really.

Went out Mid Steyne - mad paddle out - solid 5-6 foot swell size. Cracker of a surf with the 3 of us and another SUP dude on a peak to ourselves almost...hooting each other in to some big walling mothers

I surfed the morning of that contest (78' Coke)-there was me and one other bloke (Brett Currotta) out on the lefts in front of N Steyne clubhouse-with Baddy Trelor on the megaphone (he as a beachie back then) hassling us to clear the water so the comp could start. They were the most amazing waves-etched in my memory....

Aw-I was only 14-but right into surfing by then (since 8) so stoked to have been out there-they were the days too-but we'll say that about SUP 15 years from now....
