which glue?? grip and wetsuits ???

1. need to stick a torn patch of my grip back to the board.....was going to use sellys quick grip, but its messy???? any better brands..???


2. got a fin slash in my wetsuit, is there a glue will stick the fabrique back?? not worth getting repaired.

Kwik grip for both. Or there's a wetsuit specific repair glue but I think it costs much more. I've used kwik grip on quite a few grips and never had a problem.

Yep as Legion said. But with quik grip make sure you apply to both sides and let it sit.
Don't rush it cos if you let it sit the right amount of time it will bond much better. I think
it's 5 minutes but I'm pretty sure it says it on the packaging.

Aquaseal is the best I have used for wetsuits, but quikgrip works well for both grips and suits .

Kwik Grip. If the wetsuit damage is at all structural you can glue it then blind sew it by hand. Use polyester thread.

Kwik Grip needs to sit until it is touch dry, which is about 15 minutes at this time of year.

I've never had much luck with Aquaseal. It's a polyurethane glue and it dries kind of hard and you get scratchy bits sticking out.

i can't even sew with my eyes open !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Are you mad Windy - you have your eyes open, just have quite a few drinks first to dull the pain of stuffing a blunt rusty needle into your thumb
